ABOUT

I am French, leaving in Thailand for 10 years now.

My job is about furniture ( design - concept - production ).

It is taking most of my time, and I really love this.

But when I am free, I like to go out and try to bring back some good photos. It is often more about to go and walk, look at people, look around and just enjoy.

I have been using a Sony Alpha77 mostly with the very good DT 16-50 2.8 SSM.

Then, I have moved to the smaller mirrorless Sony NEX7 with the SEL 55-210  4.5-6.3.

I have  added the beautiful SEL 50 1.8 and the so good Sigma 30 2.8 EX DNE.

Both cameras are very good tools. They are beyond my skill level and I still have a lot to learn about how to use them decently.

But for street photo, I wanted to have 2 mirroless cameras, small and light enough to carry all day.

The Alpha77 is a bit bulky and heavy in my bag, even if it is for me a great camera with so good IQ.

Lately, I have decided to complete my street photo bag with the Fuji X100T.

I like her vintage shape and the particular way to make photos with this little gem.
Only an equivalent 35mm lens + a 28mm and a 50mm adapters. All in f2. Need to zoom? Use your feet!

Capa was telling : "If the photo is not good, you were too far".

I like this...

Just a short message to you Kids...
